Essential Criteria

1. University level qualification in Library and Information Studies, Technology or other relevant area of study/experience. 
2. 3-5 years experience in collection management, budget management, project management and staff supervision, with proven capacity to lead and develop staff within a library environment. 
3. Excellent technical skills and a high level of digital literacy. 
4. Proven ability to embrace change and engage, lead and inspire others to achieve outcomes for the benefit of the organisation and community. 
5. Proven experience in delivering quality customer service and a positive, professional, and cooperative approach to working with others. 
6. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills with strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to deal with difficult customers. 
7. Demonstrated organisational and time management skills with a flexible approach to work and the ability to meet deadlines. 
8. Experience in the creation and implementation of policies and procedures for organizational efficiency. 
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of individuals and organisations. 
10. Current Working with Children Check.
