Essential Criteria

1. Work experience in a customer service role 
2. Current Class C Drivers Licence and Working with Children Check 
3. Ability to follow instruction, work autonomously, and communicate professionally 
4. Demonstrated ability to use a range of Library information resources, and a willingness to provide assistance, training and support to library customers in the use of office, library and emerging technologies 
5. Ability and commitment to work in Council’s customer service point rosters, including rostered evening and weekend shifts across the span of Monday-Sunday 

Desirable Criteria

1. Experience working in a Library 
2. Demonstrated understanding of services offered by public libraries and their relationship with communities 
3. Aptitude for basic cataloguing and technology assistance 
4. Willingness to assist and deliver Children’s and Adults programs
